Cake Decorating Made Easy! Vol. 1 & 2

Troubleshooting Page

1) "The Video plays only part way through."

Whether you have a dial-up or high-speed connection, the video must be allowed to fully load before "Play" is clicked.

If "Play" is clicked before it loads all the way, (before the green bar moves all the way to the right), then the video simply isn't all there to play yet. With dial-up, loading can take a few minutes.

2) "Even after waiting for the video to fully load, the green bar pauses or stops before it gets to the right. And then nothing more happens."

This can happen for various reasons.

Streaming media, such as live newscasts, music, and our cake videos is affected by connection speed issues, and by the amount of data streams the media server is providing to others at a given time, as well as other network constraints.

You may be trying to access the video at the same time hundreds of others are as well. Simply try again at a less busy time.

One "trick" that works for some viewers is to close the page if the green bar stops. And then click to reopen. (Sort of like hanging up and redialing when you get a busy signal.) Many report that on the second try, the video loads without hesitating.

Or, it could be that your Internet connection dropped, even if
just for a second or two. If this happens frequently, check with
your Internet Service Provider.

3) Trouble opening, viewing, or "blurry pages" in Video Book (ebook):

You may simply need a more current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.5 (or later) to open and read the file. If you're unsure which version you have, or you'd like to have the latest version, click here (it's free):

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once everything is downloaded, and installed, simply open Adobe Acrobat, then, from within Adobe Acrobat, go to "File," then "Open." Find the Video Book or Bonus (.pdf file) you'd like to open and double click it.

4) "Links in Video Books don't work."

Make sure you are connected to the internet before clicking them.

5) "When I click the "Play" triangle, nothing happens.

"Sometimes you need to click the "play" triangle two times, instead of just once (depending on your browser).

6) "Videos play for a few seconds then stop."

You're most likely on a dial-up connection. Simply wait till the video is fully loaded before viewing it. (This may take a few minutes if you're on dial-up.)

7) "I'm having trouble watching the videos even though I am using a high-speed connection."

You may need a more current version of Macromedia Flash Player. You can get it for free by clicking HERE:

Once the new Flash Player is installed, and before you try to watch a video, close your browser and reopen it (especially if you're using Windows). Your browser will need to access the new flash driver.

8) "I received the information from the download and it was working properly. When I went into the video book, it asked if I wanted to allow access from the "clicksecrets.com" website. I inadvertently clicked "block" instead of allow, and now I cannot access any of the video clips from any of the books."

All you need to do is uninstall and reinstall your Adobe Acrobat Reader. For details, CLICK HERE.

9) "When I try to open the downloaded books I get a message that states: 'Windows cannot find AcroRd32.exe
This program is needed for opening files of Type PDF files.'
I have downloaded Acrobat reader and still have this problem."

It is possible that although the Adobe Acrobat Reader has been downloaded, it may not have been installed on your computer.

If it has not been installed, go ahead and install it, your Video Books and Bonuses (all PDF documents) should open.
